Isuzu Bakkie Canopies

The trustworthy and respected Isuzu KB bakkie has been manufactured in South Africa since the very first ’70s generation. It has proven itself over the years and subsequent generations were appreciated for their excellent ride quality and reliability. It was amongst the first bakkie in South Africa to be offered for sale as a double cab and it used the first direct-injection turbo-diesel engine available in a local bakkie, back in the ’90s. In fact, a 2,5-litre diesel model reached the local newspapers in 2018 for clocking 1-million kilometres. Many old Isuzus are still going strong on South African roads.

Roadrunner and Platinum

The current 6G Isuzu KB has been for sale for a few years and follows the traditionally conservative and tried-and-tested recipe that Isuzu drivers find so reassuring. The bakkies are available in LWB models, Extended Cab, and Double Cab derivatives, and we offer canopies for sale for on all these models. We offer two Roadrunner canopies for the single-cab workhorse Isuzus, the high-roof and low-roof model. Both have glazed SABS safety-glass windows but can be specified with blanked-out side windows for panel van use.

We offer two Platinum canopies too, one for the Extended Cab model and the other for the Double Cab Isuzu KB. The Platinum has a curved-glass rear door, flush-mounted side glass moulded in drip cavities, a high-mounted centre brake light integrated into a roof spoiler, an interior light, and roof-console-mounted fresh-air ducting.

Optional Extras

A range of optional extras are available for our bakkie canopies:

All the canopies for sale in our range are covered by a 3-year guarantee on the UV-protected shell and one year on the mechanical items. In addition, a free 6-week service is included where we tighten after you have run in the bakkie. (i.e rubbers settle once canopy on the road)
